Power brakes

Hey guys i putting power brakes on my 65 and I'm having trouble with brake pedal sticking when running at idle. Give it gas and it comes back up yes I have a bigger. Cam and I'm pulling about 10 lbs of vacum I put a canister on today and it helped but if you hold it down enough it stays down so though about doing away with booster. Though about hydroboost but ready to get it on the road.so my question does booster make big differnce. Thank yall for help.

Have you checked for the pushrod rubbing on something? Have you tried disconnecting the pushrod from the pedal, to see if it is perhaps an issue with the pedal pivot?

I believe you are supposed to drill a hole about 1" down from the original due to the new angle of the booster/cylinder setup. I had read this somewhere.

THanks guys I moved pedal rod down already going to try a new spring on pedal I think maybe spring might be weak after 40 years of use.
