Well it is finally done and everything works perfectly. I want to thank Livrat for all of the effort in getting the lens made. This dash was a mess to start with. some one had been in it and bent up the tins gauge backing plates and so on. I just do not understand why they would have done it but I got it as straight as I could. Here is a run down on what was done. All of the tins media blasted and painted, all nuts and screws either new or polished. Speedo miles set to zero, needles repainted, new bulbs, new lens, new bezel. The fuel and amp gauge were both not working and I replaced them with nice used ones. I think it turned out just fine. Some of the pics were taken with and without the flash and may look a little different.

That is the sea foam green (krylon) that take two weeks to dry

. It is aggravating but to me is the closest match to factory.

That turned out nice. The reason for any damage was the truck got rolled and took a hit to the cowl on the driver side which pushed the dash in some. I don't remember if i tried to straighten anything or not. That was quite a few years ago.

Eric that would explain the damage then. It could not be detected unless you took it apart and it was all twisted and bent up.

That explains the cracked lens also. I think i had to pull that one without being able to open the doors on the cab. Hard to recall them all, i have seen alot of clusters since that one. I think copterav8r will like this one.

Yes I think he will be happy with it. Everything turned out good. We used the cracked lens as a template to re-screen the new lens.

Paul, your dash turned out great as always! Have you tried the Krylon (satin Jade)? It dries in about 10 minutes and ( satin Pistachio) it is close to the right color, your not going to get a perfect match but they are close and they dry fast

Les I have not tried either but will check them out. I do not know what it is about this color drying but it is as close as I have found. I will look into these other colors and as always thanks.
