4WD to 2wD
ANyone tell me if a 4WD blazer chassis can be used in 2WD configuration?
In other words with 2WD suspension bolt in a 4wd chassis? thanks in advance

Works great. It is done alot. Livrat is the king of this conversion. There are alot of them on here.

Sport truck magazine did an article showing the steps to convert. http://www.sporttruck.com/techarticl...ion/index.html
If you plan on going low, you can get lower with the 4wd frame converted than with a 2wd frame.

No problem in the front, but I don't think you can use the trailing arm rear if that's what you were planning.

The article shows how to install trailing arms in the rear. You have to fab/install some mounts for the shocks/airbags.

If you want to do it quick, you can use the leaf springs and put the axle on top.
