I heard these are rare

Pulled this from a 66 c10 that came in the scrap yard today. I have seen countless 4 speed trucks but this is the first time I have seen the back up light hardware, the was no switch just the hardware.

What does the switch look like? any ideas where to get one?

Re: I heard these are rare

Cool find.
There's a member that has that setup that sent me some pics via private messaging.
When I get back to my computer, I'll post them here.

Re: I heard these are rare

I'll post the pics along with his emails in order that I received them:

Robert,

Glad I read your posting. I enjoy assisting others with their projects.

Here are 3 pictures of the broken factory switch. I have another file with the replacement switch.

Re: I heard these are rare

2nd email from John:
Quote:

Here is the replacement switch. It is a momentary push button switch. I looked in my records, and I don't have the part number. I can get it Monday from Norvak Electronics. There is a store in the PDX area in Beaverton. Salem also has a store.

Hope this helps,

John

Here is a picture he took of the switch:
Quote:
Hi, Robert,
I stopped by my local Norvak store & took this picture of the switch I used.
It is normally off & momentarily on. Screw terminals, SPST, Philmore brand by LKG Industries. Part # 30-457
