Gas pedal ?
Has anyone ever gone to the cable from the rod type gas pedal linkage? Is it hard to change or would I want to?

It's a pretty easy change. Allows the engine to flex without binding the rod. If a motor mount ever breaks when your gassing on it, the rod likes to stick in the wide open position, where as the cable won't. If your interested, I have an extra one available...$30.00 shipped to your door via USPS.

Let me know wher you find a new cable at Mudder, I need one for my 72. Any place I've checked as far as local stores only list 2wd, 4x4 seems to be a dirty word for some reason.

I think the difference is in the length of the cable, 2 wheel drive being longer than the 4x4 version because the motor sits farther away from the firewall on 2 wheel drive.
