Stock Blazer Carpeting - need pics

My Blazer did not have factory carpeting in it when I bought it - it had some non molded replacement carpeting in it. I have new carpeting but have a question. Did the carpeting cover the stepped up part of the tub where the seat belts mount behind the front seats or did it end at the back of the floor and start anew at the front of the tub floor?

The carpet kits from ACC have extra length on the front end of the rear floor carpet to run down the bulkhead and under the front floor carpet section if you wanted to. Its easy to just cut it off and end it under the carpet strip though.

Re: Stock Blazer Carpeting - need pics

I bought mine through Trim Parts as my Buddy is a small seller for them and I got a significant discount. They carry their own brand and it is the only molded carpet licensed by GM Restoration parts (according to their catalog). It does have enough extra to carpet the step up area, that's why I wasn't sure whether or not it should be carpeted. Much nicer carpet than the set I bought from a different manufacturer for my Burb a couple of years ago. This has padding under all of it and is a heavy loop. I'll trim it and install it as stock.
