I am going to say that it is either the windshield or something under the wiper cowl.
I have never been into my wiper cowl so someone else is going to have to tell what to check in there.
Has the vehicle had a new windshield put in recently?
Is there a sunroof on it perchance?

You'll need to remove the kick panel to fix it. Behind the kick panel it has the fresh air vent. It is sealed with some sticky junk to the metal. My passenger side leaked. I pulled the panel and related parts. Used some good caulking to seal it back and no more problems.

you also need to clear out the leaves and crap under the wiper cowl this jams up and cause it to leak where the wiper motor comes in and into the vents trust me i went nuts doing this on a jeep
