my new to me buddy buckets
thought id post up a couple pics of the seat i found at the salvage yard in a 67 camper special. it was job getting the rusty bolts out of the floor and squeezing it out the door with a car and suburban on either side of the truck but i got it! cleaned out the center console a found an old Charlie Rich cassette, a pair of needle nose pliers and a bunch of garbage! underneath the mess, the jacking sticker is still there. the paint on the frame and console are in really good shape and the foam seems to be quite good as well. the covers are junk and are orange so im trying to decide if i wanna go with some factory black covers or just see about having the local upholstery guy make me up some. kinda leaning to a custom set so as not to have all vinyl. was thinking maybe tweed or something in the centers? its going in the '70 short stepper we have been slowly workin on. i was pretty excited to spot it and honestly wouldnt have even known what it was without the knowledge ive gained from this site! Thanks! Jay

Re: my new to me buddy buckets
There was a retaining strap affixed to the back of the cab that would hold the center seat upright when nobody was sitting in it.
