Another 65 ascross the scales

This long stepper came in today, pretty well already picked over, but has perfect rear fenders! We also bought 2 1957 chevy trucks, one short one long. Guy said he had another 57 and a 66 custom cab to bring in. Amazing at all the vintage trucks going to the crusher !!!

So does "save" mean it's not getting crushed, or is it only until a few more parts come off?

You able to pull any parts from it....

How are the steps, tailgate, drivers door, hood, rear fenders?

Anything left inside the cab?

Re: Another 65 ascross the scales

Nice thing is your saving them and not crushing them. Some places up here roll them right into the crusher.

I think it is a 50, it was this close to the crusher, eeek! I saved it a few weeks ago, but it is doomed for the crusher soon. Here is a few pics of the front

I will pull the bed (rear fenders are awesome and straight), the rest is just poor condition with rust and lots of pieces already gone. It will probably get crushed next week. I have several parts trucks personally, so unless it is really complete and straight I dont fight too hard to save them... It is a scrap yard and crushing is our business, but sometimes I will pitch a fit and try to keep from being crushed.

I will at least pull the good parts off of whatever comes in, a few weeks back a 65 custom cab came in with the auto column with custom wheel, factory air, and ash tray still on it. I posted pics of and and set it back until at least I can pull all the good stuff.
