What is this on the gas vapor line.

This is under the truck. It is an 87 with tbi. Is it a filter. And what is it for.

I think it might be a check valve for the vapor line. Do you have dual tanks?

Chevy told me it is a vapor control valve.

It is a vapor control valve, but usually you'll find it next to the charcoal canister.

On my 87 it is on the passenger side straight across from the gas tank. I am replacing the hoses on it. One hose has two different sizes ends. I can't find the hose. I think I need fuel hose because it is for fuel vapor.
