Aftermarket Steering Column

I have always thought that aftermarket columns were really expensive, but I just have to check if Summit had some. They have them, for what I think, is a decent price vs. a flaming river or Ididit.

Can these columns be used in our trucks though? Is it a bolt in column using the factory mounts inside the cab? IIRC, it seems the mount was able to be unbolted form the factory column.... can that be swapped over to this universal column? Or do I have to use a aftermarket drop hanger?

Here is a link:

This is the bracket I am wondering if it can be swapped to this universal style column.

Re: Aftermarket Steering Column

Thanks. Just checked them out and will be ordering next week. Looks like I just need to get a universal mount and I am set.
