12 bolt posi help
I currently have a 12 bolt installed in my 85 c10. Its a posi however it has a spool in it. I recently saw a guy on craigslist selling a eaton posi carrier and 4.10 gear for $400 bucks. the only thing is that it came from a 1964 c10 12 bolt. Are these rearends the same and could I use this carrier and gear??

Depends if it's a 3 or 4 series. You can find alternative posi traction with lockers. Lockers are easier to install and less expensive.
