Need Rear Gears 3.73 and Posi
Hi I'm looking for some 3.73 12 bolt gears. I can use series 3 or 4 with the right posi. I presently have 3.07 and need lower gears. I would like a Eaton Posi. Thanks!

Right I know that you have to do that. If I happen to get a series 3 Eaton posi then I would have to get the thicker gears to fit it. I have the Series 3 carrier now. I just need new gears. What do you have in that 3.73 as in parts? Also how much do you want for the parts?

I have a ring and pinion out of a '70 2WD 12 bolt rear. 3.73 ration and are in good shape. I don't know how many miles are on them but everything on that frame was really good yet.

Sounds like a good deal Dave. I'll let you know what happens after Mike Reeh and I get things figured out on his gears. His is a locker setup. I'd like to have a posi instead. But for the price I really can't pass it up.
