looking for spring hanger. PLEASE HELP!

I am restoring my 1970 c10, shortbed, 2wd. My truck is equipped with leaf springs in the rear instead of coil springs.

I need the driver side rear, but it is called the FRONT of REAR spring hanger. It is pop riveted to the side of the frame. Mine is rusted and will be very hard to repair. I have searched everywhere I can think of and cannot find this. Any help?

First of all ...

footbraker to this internet forum and from Ohio. I would suggest looking in the parts forum and maybe something will come up. Best of luck.

Re: looking for spring hanger. PLEASE HELP!

70cst, I appreciate the warm welcome. I've been lurking the site for a long time and recently joined. I owned a 1969 c10 a while back with a 1998 step side bed and a 406 small block. Sold it to go into business and 10 years later found a 1970 to restore. Always loved these trucks. I will create a build thread soon. This one will more than likely end up karisma blue and it will sport a mild 350 with dart heads. Currently it is disassembled and the cab is on a rotisserie. It is being treated to brand new gm doors, floorpans, cab corners, rockers, fenders, radiator support etc...... Total restoration.

After searching for two weeks for this spring hanger, I had no choice but to reach out here. It is not reproduced as a new part anywhere.

Thumbs up Re: looking for spring hanger. PLEASE HELP!

Welcome to the forum! Can't help you other than to wish you luck.... was gonna suggest combing the boneyards but it sounds like you've already done that. Looking forward to your build thread!
