I was thinking over my 6/8 drop and I am doing a 8 inch drop in the rear by flipping the axle. Now my plans for the front are 3 inch drop spindles and was thinking of cutting the springs. Which would give me another 2 inches getting me to 5 total. How would i get it down to 6 in the front and are there aftermarket springs I could use that way I don't have to cut the stock springs?

Any reason you don't want to cut the stock spring? I cut mine and it rode better than my '02

The only reason would be that I have all stock parts taken off and boxed as I go, but setting that aside, Would I cut 1.5 coils off to drop it 3''? and would that be to much cut off? If so that would get me to 6 with the spindles.

I've heard 1 coil = 2" , I ended up cutting about 1-3/4 coils off mine which got me about a 6" drop.
