I have the Tek Sport model made by Design Automotive. I've had it for 6 months and it's a good product for the money. Very nice clamp-on mounting system and quick release bows. It was $200 at Summit Racing for the long bed version. http://www.designautogroup.com/

1969 C10 (not the current one) that I bought in the early 1980s. Paid $1200; sold for $1500 a few years later. Just a hint at the appreciation that was coming.

Lund Industries, Inc. Customer Service 800-328-5863, Fax 800-782-5448. They will tell you where you can buy one. I got one from LMC, a Premier model. The plastic corners broke several times when traveling at highway speed. Lund then sent me a new one free of charge. The rails are very heavy and it has heavy duty corners. It also has four bows. The new one has givenme no trouble. It is also twice as heavy as the older model. It is vinyl with two ties to tie it up against the rear of the cab. I have it on my 68 longbed and it fits well.

Insist on the one that has four bows and replaces the Premier.

The Lund costs about the same as the Tek Sport.
