My '70 C-30 Shop Truck/Daily driver
I purchsed this truck 2 1/2 years ago with severely damaged LF suspension and needing alot of TLC. It is an actual Nevada truck with lots of show placards on the dash from the mid-'70's thru '80's. Showing just at 100K actual miles. it is a Camper Chassis and is the original WB- was designed to have the overhead camper built on it, but never was, have original sales slip- was sold as a cab and chassis. Originally with a 402, had a 427 installed by PO at 75K. Has TH400 trans, AC,PS,PB. No tilt or tach. I completely replaced the entire front suspension, adding sway bar and 2"drop springs. Also upgrades to the JB-8 disc brakes. Replaced the rear Eaton HO-72 with a later corporate 14 bolt with 3.73 gears. I know alot of purist will say a butchered the truck but, I made a daily driver/shop truck. The original 14K GVW allows me to haul what I want. The all white pics are as purchased and you can see the mods made to the bed and front bumper which was all fabbed in our shop. Hope you like.

Re: My '70 C-30 Shop Truck/Daily driver
Thanks! I fabbed the front bumper, bed side extensions and installed the toolbox. The rear axle was changed out to a true dually unit, to replace the cab and chassis Eaton HO72, for better highway gears. Sad to report the truck was totalled on March 7th. No one injured, just destoyed the cab and front clip. Saved the chassis and drivetrain. Currently mocking up a cab over cab and upgrading to diesel power. Will post some pics later.

Re: My '70 C-30 Shop Truck/Daily driver
Update 4/13/2012 -- Purchased A 1964 LCF cab and front clip to install on chassis, rather than the COE I bought. Still looking for diesel power train for the upgrade. hate to crossbreed, but most likely going with the 12V Cummins for simplicity. New to the diesel thing, if anyone has input, thoughts, suggestions, I am all ears!
