1/64 Jada Cheyenne Body Swap

I just got back from Walmart with the yellow & white Bigtime 4 Wheelin' truck. I've had a turquoise & white Dub City truck waiting to swap bodies with. The Dub City and two versions that came in the Five Deep sets are the only 2wds with nice wheels from this nice casting. I have both of those from the Five Deep sets and figured that turquoise & white custom paint job would look better than a stock looking job, since it's more of a monster or show truck than a realistic street legal truck, and the yellow and white conventional two-tone would make a nice looking version of a lowered 2wd street truck. They sure make it easy to do using screws. I was about to grab my drill when I looked and saw they were screwed together.

I swapped the orange/white with the turquoise/white. I really like the turquoise lifted.

Re: 1/64 Jada Cheyenne Body Swap

Yeah,me too. I can appreciate that paint job better for some reason. I originally bought the turquoise & white one to swap with an orange & white 4wd. The the yellow& white came out with a different two-tone,so it's like the 5 Deep yellow& white, but different in a subtle way. I still want to make an orange & white 2wd,though. I'll probably paint the body to go on the 4wd to have another version. I have some factory medium blue that would look good.

I think the Jada black w/flames , which I think was from a 5 Deep pack, would look good swapped with the high profile kit. However, I only have one of those.

Re: 1/64 Jada Cheyenne Body Swap

I've seen a couple on Ebay done that way. Only,I wanted to buy one of those to put it back to the hard to find original version. Finally,I bought the whole 5 Deep set to get one and will just sell off the other 4 cars loose, since they are also not available by themselves. I'm not really into the monster 4wd thing. If they made a more realistic 4wd,that would please me more. I pretty much did the body swap to get another version of a 2wd. Although I really like the 4wd I ended up with...even more than any they have offered. I have all kinds of ideas for the 2wds. Too bad you only have the Dub Cities to work with (other than the rare 5 Deeps) for decent wheels. I may do one Von Dutch swap (grey) with the orange & white 4wd.
I did this Hot Wheels 4wd swap using a Hummer H2 chassis:

I wish I knew how to swap wheels. That's limiting me on a lot of ideas. I have gotten Custom 69 Hot Wheels just to swap chassis, like that Hauling Asphalt one because you can find them for not a whole lot of money.

Re: 1/64 Jada Cheyenne Body Swap

I bought more of those Jada Big Time 4 Wheelin' trucks to do conversions. I just saw something I want to try. It looks like you can put the Greenlight trucks on the Jada chassis. At least that's what I'm going to try. This thing is just too dang cool!

Many of the Greenlight trucks would look good with the high profile chassis.
