Big 4wd Diecasts

You just don't see a 4wd toy that doesn't have huge tires and lift. I think they are the reason little boys grow up wanting real truck that way. I didn't have that when I was little. It's the other way around, first there were no 4wds with huge tires, then real one, then toys. Anyway, here are a few I have in 1/24 scale. Does anyone else have any Stompers or other big 4wd toys to share?:

This was one of my favorite big tire'd trucks. I still have 2 of these. I had a whole box of stompers, but my dad hide them away (he'z a matchbox collection freak) and i never saw them again.

Re: Big 4wd Diecasts

I bought my son one of those Chevys back in the '80s. It went real good in the mud one time, then died. It didn't even get wet. It had two Jerry cans in the bed, right? They selected gears and forward/reverse. You could put it in neutral,so he played with it that way for a long time. It sure rolled good with those tires.

Re: Big 4wd Diecasts

Yes it did, had forward and reverse, high and low gear. Winch on the front. They didn't like the mud or water. The power was awesome, the tires are soft and they would pull twice their weight. Had a lot of fun with them.
