My 71 C10 with 200 miles
I rebuilt the turbo 350 bout a month ago and just put a gm goodwrench crate 350 in ole blue, got right at 200 miles, so Ive got a brand new truck. Now I cant make up my mind whether to drive it for a while or start the body work, I got all the metal to fix all the rust already but I love driving these trucks

Re: My 71 C10 with 200 miles
Trust me on this! You have a great driver there. I would not restore that truck right now its perfect the way it is!!!! You can take it anywhere and not stress over some bone head leaning on it or, parking too close to it! I love my hot rods (three trucks and a 65 nova coupe) but, I can't leave anyone of them anywhere without keeping one eye on them at all times. My next truck will be one like you have a good looking stock truck you can take anywhere load anything in kind of ride congrats&enjoy!! (only stock once) cheers, Pat

Re: My 71 C10 with 200 miles
Nice truck. I'd do the body work a little at a time so that I can still drive it.

Drive and enjoy this will give you more time to brain storm of all the things you may want to do to fix her up when the big rebuild begins.

4.5 or 5" backspace? Gonna put 15x10 rallies on the back of my Pickup in the future and yours looks great.

Re: My 71 C10 with 200 miles
Drive it! My biggest regret is starting the body work on mine when I could have driven it for years and lived with the body as is(was).
