i need a measurement please

im looking to buy a 72 cheyenne and was wanting to know if anyone with a stock seat and steering wheel would pull seat all the way back and measure from seat back to bottom of steering wheel im trying to find out how much room these trucks will have without the mods thanks

I see no one has responded yet, so even though mine is an all std. 68, it will give you an idea. 14"

I'm assuming you mean bench, but if you mean bucket, let me know and I can check. I'm 6' 2" and wish the wheel was a little further away, but it's not bad.

Ok, I have a 72' and here is what I measured:
15" (maybe a touch more).
Here is the set-up for this measurement:
-Seat all the way back (against the cab)
-(Stock) Steering wheel in the standard position (not tilted up or down)
-Measurement taken from the bottom tangent/radius of the steering wheel (6 o'clock position) measured horizontally to where the tape measure just touches the front (stock) upholstered face of the seat back.
