front bag brackets

about to purchase my bags and brackets for the front of my 81 gmc with stock lca's. my question is does the cup on the bottom have to be welded in or does it set in the pocket where the springs are at now? does it matter what bags I buy? i know like d-dominators 2600s, etc.

Cup just sits in the pocket of the a-arm. Depending on the amount of drop you're looking for, you can also trim the cup to the point the bag is about flush or just above the flat portion of the a-arm. Just make sure the bag doesn't contact any metal.

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.
It's like a highly skilled Morrocan sword fighter with a Damascus Steel Scimitar.....

Cubic inches is like Indiana Jones with a cheap pistol.
