NP205 Ford to Chevy
This may be a real dumb question, but I need to know the answer.
Is a NP205 transfer case out of a 78 Ford Bronco exactly the same as a NP205 out of a 78 chevy K20 ? Are all original NP205's exactly the same ? Will they all interchange when the correct adapter is used ? Will the shifter from a NP203 work on a NP205 ?

No, there are several different versions. They are interchangeable but need some work like swamping input shafts, ext, ext. No, they are two different beasts.
