Finally got my '79 tagged, and pix...
Well, finally got everything taken care of, and she's all legal now. In fact, I just got the title in the mail yesterday. That was really quick.
Took her around back for some pictures. Still got a few things to do. Need a new washer pump, and A/C compressor. Would like to get the seats recovered, but may just try to find some nice covers for the front. I have a '73 grill (the one on it is cracked) and headlight bezels to install. Thinking about painting the grill satin black, and painting the ralleys gloss black. Also, thinking about getting some gray vinyl to make a 2-tone. Just do the area "inside" the side trim. That way I can change it out if I don't like it. Then thinking about painting the roof black or maybe gray to match the sides. Roof rack would be nice too... But for now, just gonna drive and enjoy. I can't wait for warmer weather, so I can get the top off! This thing is a blast. I feel sorry for all you lowriders. |
