quality air suspension

The internet is a haven for public bashing of consumer goods/services, and I need some direction from experienced shoppers as to where I can turn for a quality bolt on FBSS air setup for my '84 1/2 ton CCSB. I would prefer a complete kit priced about $2K. Go.

Re: quality air suspension

Many vendors on this site can help. I have the accuair set up I got from Scott's hot rods. You can call any of the vendors and they will help you out. Scott's hot rods, ride tech, accuair and porter all sell nice stuff.
Good luck man.

Re: quality air suspension

I've been cruising the site for some time, read lots of builds/projects threads ^^^ yours in particular. I've never owned, let alone driven a bagged truck, so it's somewhat new to me. As long as the technology's been around, you'd think it might be a little bit more affordable to get quality products... I'm leaning toward the Stg. 1 Ride Tech kit. Wanna give opinions?

Honestly 2k won't cut it most rear kits only are around 2k,Cheapest ridetech kit for it is 3300 http://www.ridetech.com/store/1973-8...0-level-1.html some of our venders might be able to get it for you at a discount but not sure how much cheaper.

Re: quality air suspension

You can get the uv4 accuair, control, bags, compressor and bags for about $1300. Front brackets @$200 and a rear c notch kit from Cpp or porter. You can def do it for $2k. Now the lower you go the more $$$ also the more options like ride height sensors and so on cost $$

Re: quality air suspension

You can get pretty low for $2k. jmedero is spot on and that would be a solid setup for a daily driver. laying it out is what gets expensive.

But you can always get lower the way they do in my hood and run 13" wheels.

Ride Tech makes premium quality products. Their kits are designed extremely well, and the fit and finish is incredible. They are not the cheapest on the market, but one of the best in the industry with quality product and service after the sale.

The level 1 kit is a great package if you can increase your budget a bit. If not, I was very pleased with my original AoL set up on the rear of my truck.

Re: quality air suspension

We can do that ridetech level 1 kit for 2950.00 We also can put together a less expensive kit but it may not be as complete... The nice thing about the ridetech kit is that it is truly complete and truly is a bolt on system....
