NY 69-72 C10 Fenders & a couple of other items

I have a pair of fenders that came off a 1971 C10. The fender cups are not in great shape, but aside from that they seem pretty decent.

I would prefer a local pickup, although I realize most people on this board are not on the east coast. If you have a suggestion to ship it while keeping the cost reasonable, I am open to it.

I was thinking $50 each, but I honestly don't know if that is a fair price. Please feel free to make an offer if I am way off base. I would consider cutting a piece and shipping if that would help.

I also have a high stall torque converter for a TH350. I don't need it and I don't want to scrap it or turn it in as a core when I get a stock torque converter; it just seems like a waste.

I don't know if anyone on this board uses high stall torque's, but if you are interested, please make me an offer. I don't have any other information other than being told by a mechanic friend that it is a high stall converter.

Please let me know if you think I am wasting my time trying to sell it, and perhaps I should just scrap it.

I have no idea. I was not kidding when I said I have no other info on it. I know it's a high stall b/c it's a lot smaller than a stock converter. It's under 12" in diameter. I was having a hard time getting a good measurement b/c of the shape (nothing to brace the tape measure against) but here are some photos with the tape.

If you have some way of telling me how to check, I will do it. I did not see any markings on it.

I am DEFINITELY interested in the fenders. Seems fair to me. If you could just put a piece of old carpet or pad between them and shrink wrap I will def. take them and ship them Greyhound. I have done it several times and I will pay you for the roll of shrink wrap as well. They run about $10. I will take them for sure... I have a bunch of extra cups I can utilize.

Great, Duane. I never knew there was a Greyhound Shipping. I just googled it; I assume it is Greyhound package Xpress? It seems like the closest location to me is White Plains, NY or Newark NJ, both about a 1/2 hour drive, but most certainly doable. I have already learned that you are the person to talk to for having stuff shipped, though.

I have some really strong bubble wrap I can put between them. This stuff is thick and not pop-able.

PM me details about how we go about having it shipped through them. Not sure where to buy shrink wrap... I do have an industrial size package of restaurant grade plastic wrap, but somehow I am guessing it's not the same thing.
