Does anyone recognize this suspension. It has GM spindles and brakes.

This is the engine that I opted to use but my dad wanted to save it for his own project. |

Re: C10 Derek, my first car
more work this week i will try to post pics
here is the left motor mount with steering hole, its going to be tight ok so we are doing the sweet porterbilt hood hinges only problem is our firewall is already all cut up so after interpreting the instructions we marked off the firewall and drilled a 3/8 hole on hinge center line, by bolting the hinge box on center i think we can align the box's then mark the holes on the inside i guess and use magic ? more to come wish me luck |

Re: C10 Derek, my first car
No pics without the body yet, we bought the frame and body as project someone else gave up on. I'm sure the cab will be off if we ever get to paint

Re: C10 Derek, my first car
the posies steering offset box should fix our clearance problems we'll fab a bracket to the firewall when we get the engine back in. he will need this "quiet car" insulation, also new engine pics, new paint and accessories on our motor donated by our friend and plumber, plus a big cam and a set of used brodix aluminum race car " spec heads" from our friend at auto pro race engines, THE DAD

Re: C10 Derek, my first car
Very nice work so far! I bet it's nice to get to the good stuff without spending a crap-load of time in rust repair.
BTW- consider yourself blessed to have an old man that is down with you rollin' in classic Detroit Iron and is willing to help with pimpin' it out. Glad to see some of the younger generation respecting the classics instead of driving some pile of hateful misery aka a "Boy Racer" tuner car!
