Artist slip up on 69 brochure

My 69 brochure is under a clear mat by my computer until I get my glove box back (let alone my cab)

If you look at the hood lines, they extend into the grille. I was wondering there for a moment if the grille originally had painted lines there. But no other grille inside the brochure shows that. So must have been a artirst touch up/ slip up back in the day.
