stepside fender brackets

anyone know were i can get the front and rear brackets for the stepside fenders or if i even need them?

If you are talking about the support rods for the fenders try the classifieds on the site. To the best of my knowledge they are not reproduced. You will need them the fenders will vibrate without them.

I made one for mine to replace a missing one, from some pencil-sized round rod stock. Little heat from a torch & some pounding to flatten & bend the ends to fit, drill a couple bolt holes & you're done.

Mine was a driver-quality truck, not a trailer queen, so I didn't want to waste a LOT of time trying to find some difficult-to-find part that hardly shows anyway.

It just keeps the fenders from vibrating / flapping in the breeze & eventually causing a metal fatigue crack in them somewhere.

The two long ones come with new fenders. So they might be available. The Short ones do not. Luckily when I bought mine there were two extras in the box. I cut and shortened them and Used them for the short ones too.
