Tilt to fixed?
My 88's column is toast, the 4 bolts deep inside have stripped the holes. Will a fixed column bolt in place? Both have cruise, pulse wiper, and high beams on the blinker switch. I believe the harmonic connector is the same, yes?

Re: Tilt to fixed?
yes the only issues come in when you have the wipers in the turn signal switch etc.. but as long as its the same year column it will interchange no problem

Re: Tilt to fixed?
Thanks, but I dont use the tilt anyway. I keep it straight. The fixed column will fix the loose wheel problem. Plus this column is local and I need it ASAP. Thanks though Ryan, you're a nice guy. No matter what I tell everyone!

Re: Tilt to fixed?
I have all of the pieces if you want it Josh.
PS: The new column was a takeout from an 87ish suburban. The original GM key is still sharp.

Re: Tilt to fixed?
It's close to totally disassembled. I've got everything for it, I'll see if I can put all of the screws and such in a baggy for ya. If you wanna come to Angier it'll be $0. But Fuquay it'll be $5. 12mpg is not good for the wallet lol. Do you want the steering wheel too?
