Talking Help identify master cylinder

I was wondering if some one can identify this master cylinder as it is leaking and has to be replaced. I know that it isn't same style that originally came with the truck.

Re: Help identify master cylinder

I agree....it is a '64-'66 pickup master cylinder. I would consider switching to a dual reservior master cylinder and splitting the lines. Does your truck have front disc brakes or drums?

Nice truck and engine BTW

Re: Help identify master cylinder

It has drums all the way around. I want the dual master cylinder and want the lines to look more stock than it does now. keep in mind if you guys point me in the right direction with the right tools i can make the repairs happen.

Re: Help identify master cylinder

Here is a good writeup that ChiefRocka did on converting to a dual reservior master cylinder. This and many other informative threads can be found in the '60-'66 FAQ index at the top of the page.

You can also use a master cylinder for a '67-'70 truck.
