Lowering control arms or drop spindles?
I'm considering the control arms or the drop spindles from DJM.
http://www.djmsuspension.com/applica...s/C10Parts.htm The control arms have improved geometry for, but I should be able to make some of these improvements by repositioning stock upper & lower control arms. 1) If I only only want 3" drop, am I better off with the new lowering control arms or the drop spindles? 2) Can anyone share the pros & cons of each approach? Re: Lowering control arms or drop spindles?
For a 3in drop spindles are the way to go. All geometry is maintained. I used drop control arms before and won't use them again, you loose a lot of turning radious and the spring pocket is very low to the ground.

Re: Lowering control arms or drop spindles?
My friend has modified stock drop control arms on his truck. We are about to replace them due to the fact that if you hit a bump hard enough while driving the hit the ground and sparks fly EVERYWHERE! But he also has drop spindles that move it closer to the ground
Never combine spindles and drop arms ever Posted via Mobile Device
