WTB - 670 CFM Holley Avenger

I am looking for a 670 Holley Avenger carb. Before I buy a new one, I thought I would see if any board members have one they need to get rid of.

Preferrably I would like it to have vacuum secondary and electric choke.

This Saturday I am going to a swap meet and there might be something there. I come across the Avengers every once in awhile. How soon are you looking to do something? Can't remember if this is a DD or not.

There's a new one on the Phoenix Craigslist (not mine) for $270. It has been listed a couple times. Maybe he'll ship it.

Prostreet.. you da man. I am in no hurry. It is a DD but the demon is not stopping me, its more of an annoyance not being able to do smokey burnouts.
Recon what shipping would cost from Oregon to Georgia?

I ship all my carbs Large flat rate for $15.

I tried to call that guy in the ad but no answer. I left my number. I was going to ask him if it was new as in "I ran it 1000 miles but it still looks new" or "new, unused, never mounted". $270 would be a really good deal for a new one! Shipping is probably the only hangup.

I still have the BG/Demon UPS account number from when i kept shipping the demon back on their dime. Maybe it will still work, if figure its the least they could do.

That guy did get back to me and did say it was brand new. Can't beat $270 for something like that. I didn't talk to him but he did leave a message. If you are interested, I'd just call him and try and work something out.

Heres some pics for you, a little dirty & missing a float adjuster, no other damage that I can see.

Mine doesn't have idle screws in the secondary metering block, most vacuum sec don't.

Yeah but the odds of it being as new and as nice as the one you got are slim!

Re: WTB - 670 CFM Holley Avenger

Actually, I wouldn't need pics on that one. THat's a zinc 750 vacuum carb and I have about 10 of those in the shop. Their resale value is nothing like the Street Avenger. They look the same at first glance but there is a difference.
