72 GMC Crew cab build
Picked this up this week end. It has factory AC and all four doors open and close nice. needs rockers and some floor patching but cab supports cab corners are in good shap. Going to put it on a 3/4 ton 4x4 frame with a short bed. May even put a duramax that I have in it not sure yet. this will be a slow build. It is a GM couch that is what the vin tag shows i have never seen one like this.

I have enough projects. Ha. Glad someone is going to save it. You need some suburban front doors (with the square corners) to match those rear doors. There's a few crew cab builds going on here on the board. This place is a wealth of knowledge.

Re: 72 GMC Crew cab build
CHASE, you must have been the one Levi said called right before me. I was going to head down on Sunday to look at it but he said someone had also called beforee me and was heading to his house.
PM me if you dont mind and let me know what you had to give, I have been looking for a cab for a while just never been able to close the deal. Oh well, GOOD to see it going to another board member although I would have rather seen it in my garage. Good luck with the build and I will keep looking!!

Re: 72 GMC Crew cab build
So the plan is to build this as a GMC?
That would be cool since all of the crew cab builds on here are being done as Chevy`s. Chris |

Re: 72 GMC Crew cab build
I agree. That is what I want to build one of these days.
I'm in to see how it goes. Good luck. Great looking start to a project.
