where does the heater control valve go? how does it hook up to the heater?

Want to know how the valve,seal, and elbows go on the deluxe heater setup. 58 v8 apache.

that thermostatic heater control valve was missing in my heater when I rebuilt it. I blew it off, use a manual valve under the hood but my truck is a driver.
I've heard that valve is available but I've never seen one. Maybe one of the really big vendors might have it. maybe LMC?

If were thinking of the same thing, the valve is $65 from Classicparts.com

the cable connects to that post on the valve and comes out through the case where the circle is at the top then to dash control
