Re: Nice 49 on ebay

I'm amazed and impressed that the wheels tuck in under the fenders as well as they do. I've been wanting to put about the same year one ton running gear under my 51 1-1/2 ton and there may be hope yet.

Old dead paint is old dead paint and a rusty body is a rusty body no matter what handle you want to tag it with.

Most anyone here could duplicate what has been done for around 1000 bucks or the cost of a rough mid 70's 1/2 ton plus the cost of the rack and pinion which might cost more than the doner truck. And the cost of the AD truck of course.
I'm afraid that the seller things it's worth a lot more than most guys would be willing to give though. 3500/4000 and you have a pretty decent daily driver that could be a nice truck with a bit of work but I'd bet he's thinking 6K+

Re: Nice 49 on ebay

With a nice set of wheels and some details I just watched two simlar trucks cross the auction block at Barrett Jackson a few weeks ago one went for 28k and the other had a fake patina that went for 66k.

Re: Nice 49 on ebay

Last weekend I saw a complete truck all restored to original. Said he wanted 18k for it.
In the garage with new paint. And that he had twice that amount in it.

Read this again. It's not the first time you have seen it prior to today it was provided to you by another team member recently in another post you made.

Please note that you must be a supporting member to post classified items. This includes but is not limited to What Its Worth, Want To Buy, Want To Trade, and For Sale. Please consider supporting the forum by subscribing. Further information on the subscription levels available are located here

If you need any further assistance with that please contact any Admin for help.

The truck belongs to you. Only subscribers can post for sale ads here (see ^^). You have also spammed six identical for sale threads in different catagories of this website which is also against our rules. Just because others are posting links does not mean that the member posting it are selling their vehicle here if they are it will be dealt with accordingly. I hope this clarifies it for you. If not "If you need any further assistance with that please contact any Admin for help." (as stated ^^^).

To the OP. I apologize for the hijack.

Don
