2.5" or 3" pipes?

ive got a pretty well built 350. double hump heads balanced crank. bored .060 over edelbrock intake long tubes roller rockers. msd. im goin to run flowmaster 10s with a h pipe and i want them to turn down after the rear. i would like 3" so it would have the really deep rumble. but my buddy is tellin me to go with 2.5" cuz 3" would be to big. what do you guys think?

thats some good info man thanks. and your truck sounds sweet but i want mine to turn heads when i fire it up. but i do not want it to sound like glass packs. im thinkin 2.5 pipes with flow 10s will do the trick

Don't go flow tens. Go spintechs! http://youtu.be/tSsmd2KbV38
Have a three inch xpipe system on my truck and it sounds exactly like that plus no drone!
