Wiper motor
Anybody ever come up with a way to splice and dice a newer model wiper motor in these trucks?
Mine has absolutely no "testicular fortitude" and I don't want to simply (or maybe not) replace it with another slow motor. Rain must fall faster now than it did 30+ years ago. Thanks |

Can you run as fast now as you could 30 years ago ?? A new replacement motor will perform much better than the old worn out one. I'm trying to remember where I saw a new "updated' wiper motor for our trucks...supposed to be better than new original. Be worth checking out.. a whole lot less work fabricating.

Might be fun (for someone who is really bored) to find out what speed the new replacement motors run at as compared to those on older (original) and newer models.
What are the variables? Running out of Rain-X. Thanks p.s. After the MRI on my right knee tomorrow, I'll give you a comparison between how fast I could run 30 years ago as compared to now. ![]() |
