Well I sold the 68...
I guess nothing is forever... I found a guy who wanted my truck and made me an offer that I thought was very fair.. I took it to my buddy Borris at Street Machinery for the new owner to receive his special treatment... C5 brakes and new Billet Specialties rollers... Just want the truck needed... Honestly I wanted to blow it apart and call my buddy Nate for a lil suspension love... Saved me a boatload of time and money... Now its time to enjoy my 54.....

That's a very nice truck. I hope I can let things go when the time is right. I have a bad habit of holding on too long.

Re: Well I sold the 68...
I hope you're talking about what I think you're talking about... Always thought it would be cool to restore a International pickup. I know where there is a quonset full of them that hasn't seen the light of day since the early 80's.

That was one of my little sister's favorite trucks, she picked that picture when I asked her what she wanted in a pickup.
Beautiful truck. |

Re: Well I sold the 68...
Wow! Down to one C/10? Are getting your addiction under control or just finding new ways to escape reality?
There's more to life. I came this close to getting a '55 Stude shortbed in trade for my '71 tow truck last week. It wasn't me,we were right there but when he told a buddy about the trade it motivated him to hand him cash for it. Oh well...I guess I need cash, too.

Re: Well I sold the 68...
I am not over C10's by any means.. The 67 is next on the list to build. I have had that truck close to 10 years, 4 years were building it and I have only put 2500 miles on it since done.. It needed updated, brakes, wheels, drop member, but I couldn't bring my self to blow it back apart. I loved the truck but never wanted to see anything happen to it and honestly I enjoy the "patina shop truck" style more.. I'm over shiny in my garage!! I sold it for 25k... I thought that was what it was worth...

Re: Well I sold the 68...
Ya done good . We're in the same place. Shiney?Been there, done that. I am far too casual to be frettin' over specs of dust and water spots anymore. I used to keep my work trucks cleaner than most BMWs. My Harley, the same way. I'm into the "Oh that thing?...Thanks" attitude now.

Re: Well I sold the 68...
Being I never advertised it and didn't have to deal with any tire kickers made the decision a little easier!
