Re: want to lower my rear leaf any good advice
Depends on how much you want to drop it...1-2 inches you can get with extended shackles...3-5 you can get different leaf springs....I'm gonna flip my rear axle to the top of my springs to obtain a 6-7 inch drop on my 66 GMC

Re: want to lower my rear leaf any good advice
I put my axle on top of my springs and removed every other one leaving 4 or 7 leafs for a 6 to 7 inch drop.in the rear. Front put a 89 dodge Dakota front end for a 6 inch drop using the 4 cyclinder coil springs. Works great, just really need to put a knotch in the rear about three inches for additional axle travel as it does hit the frame once in a while.
