Question Lowering advice

please post a pic of your lowered truck what size drop it is and what i need to do mine that way. i really want the performance look not the slammed down look so no bags tax time is coming soon ya know

i chopped 1 1/2 coils and used a flip kit, a couple hours and $100 was all it took. it gave me about a 3.5" drop in the front and about 7" in the rear

the day i brought it home

and when i finished lowering it.

front > 2.5 spindles & 3 in drop springs

rear > shackles & hangers for approx 4 in. & dearcked springs for approx 2.5-3 in ( 6.5-7 total ) >>>>>>>>>>>>good luck

McNaughty 2.5 drop spindles,3" drop coils from Summit, flipped rear (welded new spring perches on and moved axle back 1")



2" drop coils, 2" drop spindles and flipped rear

WOW thanks everyone i really like that blue 79 with the flames thats probably what i will end up going with because i cant go too low because then i couldnt get up my rutted out driveway or get to some of my fishing spots haha

Flip kit in rear, dropped spindles and cut one round off coils on front

Shop around a little. Sometimes Summit has specials and sometimes Stylin Trucks have specials.

this is mine 3/4 drop 3" spindles and shackle & hangers in the rear I also installed drop shocks ride quality is still very good and handling is better but still not as good as a modern truck



the back sits up a little higher since I removed the rear bumper

western chassis if i remember right? done it about 5 years ago there 3" drop spindles I had to swap over to the HD brake setup
