Re: Is to high $ for a tilt column?
On the surface that seems high but we need some more information.
Automatic or floor shift? Rebuilt? Have you verified it's a truck tilt and not a van or motorhome tilt?

I can buy new aftermarket for a bit less, and have found used stock van and truck one for 50-250 depending. Also I'm from canukistan... (Canada)

Re: Is to high $ for a tilt column?
Sold a tilt PLUS cruise control fully intact with the tilt in good working condition for I think $300 or $350..was last year so I forget. $400 seems a little high to me for just a tilt. Mine was out of a Sierra Grande which was fully loaded.

Contact boardmember "Kevsclassics". He rebuilds tilt columns and you can get a brand new one for that price.

A true truck automatic tilt goes for $275 used. $100-$150 more for rebuilt, like new.
