another Frame question.....
......is there a different between a Frame with Coilsprings and a Frame with Leavesprings ?

No. I have both and they are the same as far as I'm aware. I'm not sure if there are minor X-member differences or not. The center has no provisions for trailing arms. Leaves are hung just like any pick-up with hangers and shackles.

Only difference I noticed was on the leaf spring versions they have a stamping that resembles a slash on the left and right of the spring hangers.
Something like \Hanger/ if that makes sense. |

I'd agree with biohazardbill. My 64 suburban has the slashes stamped into the rail right next to the leaf spring hangers. In looking at the crossmember numerous times, it sure looks like the Chevy trailing arms would bolt right up, as the holes are all there.

I believe the leaf spring frames have an extra crossmember at both the front and rear spring hangers. As far as I know it is not too difficult to convert a leaf spring frame to coils. All the holes should be in the frame already.
