Oil pan gasket change
I have a 2001 suburban 4x4 with a 5.3 vortech an the oil pan is leaking is this a common issue to leak near the oil filter housing. Also what is the easiest way to change the pan gasket.

Ive seen them leak there, Not really common though, You made sure its not the little cover above the oil filter?
Drop the front diff down & the pan comes right out. Put a new O-ring on the oil pick-up tube while your in there. |
