Aftermarket a/c vents vs factory
I've made up my mind that my truck will get a/c this year. It's just too hot to be able to enjoy driving it during the NC summers. I've decided to go with an aftermarket system, but I'm not sure if I want to use aftermarket vents or find some nice factory ones. Anyway, I want to know the pros and cons, if any, of using factory vs aftermarket dash vents. Thanks!

Re: Aftermarket a/c vents vs factory
I don't know the answer to your question yet. I'm in the same boat. I will most likely go with the Vintage Air Sure Fit System, but I don't like the look of the side vents that come with it. I recently bought a pair of factory side vents. One thing that is obvious is that making the cut out for the factory ones is going to be a little more complicated. I'll actually have to cut it with a saw of some kind rather than using a hole saw. I'm looking forward to what other's have to say here.

Mine has an after market a/c and factory vents. If you already have the factory vents, it makes a cleaner look imho.

Re: Aftermarket a/c vents vs factory
I'm definitely going to go ahead and install dash vents, but I'm not sure if I want to find the factory ones or use the aftermarket ones. I was going to use the underdash vents, but I've changed my mind.
