WTB-1972 Blazer rear hatch
Anyone selling, or know where I can purchase (other than Brother's), a solid rear hatch with associated hardware? First Blazer build underway! Appreciate any assistance provided.

Re: WTB-1972 Blazer rear hatch
Usually cracking in the frame...and rust on the outer hardware is the biggest issue. What's the cost for hatch & hardware & shipping to 72601? I would also be interested in an automatic tilt steering column if available. Looks like a descent truck for parts!
I really appreciate you finding me and saving the day!! Last edited by Walleye; 02-14-2012 at 06:33 PM. |

Re: WTB-1972 Blazer rear hatch
Walleye, If the hatch is good with all the hardware I would sell it for $400 plus shipping. Dont have any idea what shipping would cost. There is a greyhound station about 50 miles from here if you are interested I will get some photos of the hatch when I get it home.

Got it...standing by for pics when you have it in possession. I will definately have to go with shipping. Currently living in Japan but will be back to the states in the near future. I will be looking to have it shipped to an address in Arkansas.
Thanks. |

Re: WTB-1972 Blazer rear hatch
Jeff, here is the best one I have
There is this one spot on inside where the hole is, and has some light stress cracks on it which most do

Re: WTB-1972 Blazer rear hatch
Here are some photos of the hatch. There are no holes in it, it does have some stress cracks I guess they all do, let me know if you want it. Thanks Daniel

Re: WTB-1972 Blazer rear hatch
Thanks everyone (teeitup & 1968C30) for the quick responses to my request. I have purchased a top w/DMARCUM123 from WV. This top appeared to be in the best condition...again, thanks to eveyone for the help!
