To those wanting late model SEATS:
If you are looking for a late model seat, please post here so I can keep track of them. I have a source that is nation wide that supplies "used" seats in various condition. Most will be in "like new" condition meaning no defects/tears/stains. It really depends on what you would like to spend. They range anywhere from 100.00 to 350.00. Some with console some without, some with electric controls some without.
Post what you want a price on and I'll check for you. Whatever they cost me is what I'll charge. In most cases there is NO SHIPPING! But I was told that they would drop ship them if the yard is close enough to you. All I can do is try on the shipping so post your zip and I'll check. Shipping will run 100.00 per seat though. Also, I won't have pics until they are ordered, if you dont like the seat after I take the pic, I can send it back with no problem. Only post if your ready to buy now though, I can't send a bunch of the seats back without them getting mad. Colors are: Tan / Red / Blue / Grey |

For those of you wondering about installing the late model seats, I just finished with mine. Bought a 60/40 bench from Garrett that was out of a 98 Tahoe, which is actually two separate seats. I was able to use the holes on the front corners, drilling them out to 3/8". Had to make a bracket for the right front corner of the driver's section, due to differences in the hump. A piece of 1-1/4" angle will bolt to the bracket and sits on the raised section that runs from side to side. The hole in the bracket ends up actually forward of the other end, so I bolted angles to this that attached to the raised section and to the floor in front, which is about 1" lower. I then made 3/8" spacers for the rear attachments, with the exception of the right end of the driver's section, which sits directly on the hump.
I considered shaving the raised section, which would lower the seat (and require notching out the hump for the rear bracket) but decided against it for now. This would have given me the head clearance similar to the original bench seat. As it is, I now have about 2-1/2" of head room, but I'm extremely long-waisted.

Thanks for the "How-to" on these seats Fred. I think when I installed mine I went the lazy route lol. I just bolted it up and put a few spacers in

Hey Piston, how about some factory 01-02 Dodge Ram single cab buckets (no integral seatbelts) in tan/beige or dark charcoal/black to 75041.

I'll check and PM you when I find out. I was thinking that most of them had the seatbelts built in though? I'll let you know asap..
Guys most of what I find is not the cheapest deal in town, all I'm offering is a place to get them when there are none to be found. |

I can't seem to locate any locally from places I've called in the yellow pages so I figure it doesn't hurt to network & see what other options are out there.
The integral belts were optioned to extended cab trucks, the single cab models w/buckets got the separate floor mounted belts/sleeves. Thanks
