Parts needed for 8-lug front end swap.

I have a 1/2 ton 79 with 5-lug front suspension. i had to swap out the rear for a 14bff due to damage to the stocker. I got the Lower control arms, springs, spindles and rotors from the truck i pulled the 14b from. I am thinking i just need to swap out my 1/2 ton LCAs for the 8lug ones and the 3/4 ton spindles will go on fine? I have an LM7 motor so will the 8lug truck springs be too much for me? I was going to cut a coil while i had them out anyways to bring the nose down some. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!!
