WTB Rusty '67 pass. outside door handle

Rusty is fine as long as it works...tired of putting my finger in to open the door.
Cheaper the better!

I hate that trick myself. Seems like there should be a "thats what she said" in there somewhere. I can find one that works if you will pay the shipping. Cheap enough?

I didn't know there was a differance between the years in these handles.

'67 is unique to the era. Bolts enter handle at a different angle.

Re: WTB Rusty '67 pass. outside door handle

67/68 has a different part number than 69-72, I've always been told it's the bolt angle as well but never verified it.

Re: WTB Rusty '67 pass. outside door handle

My 1968 handles will not fit this door. The truck is actually a VERY early '68...had the '67 arm rests,
'67 outside handles but the 1968 wing windows

GMC was the same...I think. But then again GMC went sideways in factory design a few times

For what it's worth, this is what GM lists for door handles, but who knows...

I think I still have the doors off my 67 out in the barn somewhere. You are welcome to the handles Ellen if you still need them. Just let me know.

Mark,
Frank's (old Chevy guy) are maybe a week away but if that doesn't pan out, I'd be delighted to swap
you a ratchet strap for one of yours Need to shake the cobwebs out of the C-10 anyway.

Re: WTB Rusty '67 pass. outside door handle

1967 and 1972 were the oddball years in these trucks. The number of differences is astounding.
As mentioned, this is a '68 truck. I assume the door is also a '67 (they are not internally
the same as a 1968 door) that just got the '68 vent.

The latch "clips" around the glass on a '67.
There's a hole in the glass on other years, for accepting the latch assy.

In the pic of '67 vent, you can see the "saddle" that holds the latch on the glass.
Also note that the latches are radically different than the other years.

Ah, I see. Never really looked at a 67 vent closely until now. Learn something new everyday... Thanks for taking the time to show this.
