Re: fender skirts
They were not stock and I do not think they were an option. Maybe an aftermarket item.

I think most of them were homemade for the trucks. LockDoc

Re: fender skirts
Good point because I don't think I have ever seen an after market skirt.

Re: fender skirts
Since fender skirts were way out of style by the time these trucks came out (except large luxury cars),any fender skirts would be home made by someone (stuck in the '50s).

Re: fender skirts
there's a guy in the town i live in that actually designs the fender skirts. he has made them for everystyle of gm truck since the 67 and ups that i know of. when gm comes out with a new design he makes a new fender skirt. when i was a kid my dad and him were sorta friends and traded cars and junk around. i remember him talking about designing the ones for the 88 trucks when they first came out and about applying for the patent on them. and yes they were all horrible looking. right now he has a new 4 door truck with the chrome 20's on it and you only see half the rear one becuase of the skirt. one word FUGLY

Re: fender skirts
I've seen places that sell fiberglass skirts for 67-72 trucks but I don't think they look good.

Re: fender skirts
I like them on some cars..like the Riviera, T Bird and some of the 50s cars look right with them..guess its just a matter of taste but to me they dont belong on a truck. But there must be a market for them. http://fenderskirtdepot.com/AllTrucks/
